<p>Come già segnalato un paio di mesi fa, evidenzio che nel Rapporto Oasi 2009 del Cergas-Bocconi di Milano, pubblicato su <a href="http://www.cergas.unibocconi.it">www.cergas.unibocconi.it</a> , sono stati dedicati ben due capitoli al marketing e discipline affini.</p>
<p>Come anticipavo nel post di novembre, nel capitolo 13 viene analizzato un tema molto caro a questo blog, cioè &#8220;Patient web empowerment: la web strategy delle aziende sanitarie del SSN&#8221;, a cura di Buccoliero &amp; co.</p>
<p>Inoltre segnalo che nel capitolo 12 viene analizzata approfonditamente la comunicazione aziendale in sanità, come segnalato e commentato dal Sole 24 Ore Sanità del 22-29 dicembre 2009, interessante sopratutto per l&#8217;approccio strategico al tema (analisi, obiettivi, &#8230;), la differenziazione dei processi (comunicazione per la salute, per il marketing, per l&#8217;empowerment e istituzionale) e per l&#8217;evidenza sulla necessità di misurare l&#8217;efficacia delle azioni rispetto agli ovbiettivi dati.</p>

<p>Non vediamo l&#8217;ora di leggere questo nuovo lavoro di Kotler &#8230; per un bel motivo in più !</p>
<p>Il progetto modenese “Scegli la salute”, realizzato dal team di Giuseppe Fattori per sostenere l’offerta di prodotti salutari attraverso la distribuzione automatica di alimenti e favorire iniziative di comunicazione per la salute nel settore, ha ottenuto un prestigioso riconoscimento: è tra i quindici casi mondiali segnalati per aver applicato con maggior efficacia le leve del marketing sociale nel promuovere la diffusione di sani stili di vita.</p>
<p>Philip Kotler, padre del marketing sociale, Nancy Lee e Hong Cheng,  tra i più noti esperti mondiali della disciplina, hanno raccolto infatti nel loro ultimo libro “Social marketing for Public Health: Global Trend and Success Stories” (Jonas and Barlett Publishers, 2009) le principali iniziative avviate a sostegno della promozione della salute nei cinque continenti, dagli Stati Uniti alla Cina, dal Perù all’Australia. Le attività proposte riguardano campi quali la lotta al fumo di sigaretta e all’abuso di alcol, il sostegno ad una regolare attività fisica, la prevenzione della diffusione dell’HIV, ecc.</p>

<p>Leggo con interesse sul Sole 24 Ore Sanità del 13-19 ottobre scorso che il NHS inglese sta varando una riforma che prevede premi per le strutture sanitarie attente all&#8217;accoglienza del paziente, integrando target di tipo quantitativo (liste d&#8217;attesa, risultati clinici, ecc..) con la soddisfazione degli assistiti, allocando su questo indicatore un premio del 4% del proprio budget, secondo quanto previsto nel progetto pilota che partirà a breve nel distretto di NHS Northwest.</p>
<p>Mi sembra un progetto che, se realizzato con metodo e integrando questo indicatore all&#8217;interno di un cruscotto multidimensionale, darà finalmente un peso economico alla centralità del paziente !</p>
<p>Nella stessa pagina leggiamo il commento ai risultati dell&#8217;Euro Health Consumer Index, presentato nel 2009, dove l&#8217;Italia veleggia al 15° posto su 33 paesi censiti dal sondaggio sulla sanità europea, appena dietro UK, registrando un lento ma costante miglioramento, speriamo in bene &#8230;. anche se in questa classifica nell&#8217;area e-health siamo giudicati &#8220;quasi assenti&#8221;.</p>

<p>The Euro Health Consumer Index 2009 groups 38 indicators of quality into six categories: Patient rights and information, e-Health, Waiting time for treatment, Outcomes, Range and reach of services provided and Pharmaceuticals. There are general improvement trends among most of the measured healthcare systems but there is continuous decline in the Spanish, Portuguese and Greek healthcare systems which do not keep up with the improvement rate one can find in countries like the Netherlands, Denmark or Ireland. “With patient mobility growing around Europe, there is a strong need for transparency exposing the pros and cons of the national healthcare systems. The EU intends to introduce a crossborder care scheme which requires significantly better information to patients. This years´ measurement indicates that forward-looking governments start using healthcare information and choice to engage patients in the decision-making, building a pressure from below for improvement”.</p>

In particolare sarà proposta una riflessione su come tecniche e strumenti innovativi possono contribuire al raggiungimento degli obiettivi di salute previsti dalla programmazione nazionale e locale (es: il Programma Interministeriale &#8220;Guadagnare Salute&#8221;, il Piano Nazionale per la Prevenzione e i relativi Piani Regionali, ecc).</p>

Il Concorso, guidato da Giuseppe Fattori, si prefigge di valorizzare e stimolare la realizzazione di progetti di promozione della salute che utilizzano le leve del marketing sociale e della comunicazione.</p>
<p>L&#8217;iniziativa intende infatti dare visibilità ai progetti che si sono maggiormente contraddistinti, oltre che per lo spirito creativo ed il carattere innovativo, per il rigore scientifico nello sviluppo di strategie intersettoriali di promozione della salute modulate sulla base dei bisogni e delle caratteristiche specifiche dei gruppi target e secondo le tradizionali fasi del marketing (analitico, strategico e operativo).</p>

<p>&#8220;L’articolo, sintesi dell’attività di un gruppo di lavoro sulla comunicazione on-line tra pari in tema di prevenzione primaria e secondaria, analizza le modalità attraverso le quali la condivisione di risorse informative, i confronti tra pazienti all’interno di social network, i gruppi di sostegno e di discussione possono influenzare i comportamenti e generare effetti in termini di salute.<br />
Le modalità di scambio delle informazioni, il sostegno emotivo e pratico, la definizione di norme di gruppo costituiscono in particolare i campi di studio della ricerca, nella quale trova spazio una riflessione sui modelli teorici applicabili allo studio della comunicazione tra pari via web (teoria sociale, modelli di comunicazione per la salute, studio del comportamento, ecc.).&#8221;</p>

<p>Italy failing, only 18th in European Patient Empowerment Ranking Brussels, 31st of March 2009 Italian patients are not very empowered according to the report “Empowerment of the European Patient &#8211; Options and Implications” published today in Brussels.</p>
<p>In this ranking Denmark comes first followed by Germany and Finland. The individual category leaders were as follows: Patients’ rights: Switzerland Information: Denmark Health Technology Assessment (HTA): Denmark and the UK Financial incentives: Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.</p>
<p>The Report is funded by an unrestricted research grant from Novartis.</p>
